Victoria Theatre - Dayton, Ohio

This project consists of three parts. The landmark 1866 lobby facade was preserved while the wood frame lobby interior was gutted and replaced with new fire-rated construction that is safer and better suited to the ballet school and offices. The 1919 auditorium was lovingly restored. The shallow hemp-rigged stage was demolished and replaced by a new, much deeper stage house with new counterweight rigging. Excellent dance floors were installed in the new stage and dance studios.
