Cornell renovated a 1000 seat auditorium that serves as the major proscenium theater for the campus community. The room is used for touring productions, campus performing organizations, and major conferences. Renovation included installation of new theater equipment and a satellite teleconference facility.

The Bratton Theater received an award citation for excellence in historic preservation and adaptive re-use from the New York City Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Built in the 1830's as a barn and adapted several times, the Bratton Theater seats 270 and houses a professional theater performance and conservatory training program. This renovation is a successful example of coordination, integration, and restraint in service of a valuable historic structure in a landmark district.

Robert Davis Inc. consulted on four spaces at The College of New Jersey. Kendall Hall, an 800-seat proscenium theater built in 1934, was completely renovated after asbestos abatement, with all new stage equipment. Adjacent to Kendall Hall is a large television studio and a 200 seat experimental theater. A recital hall with 380 seats is located in the new music department building.

The tenant for the 199 seat Main Stage Theater is Primary Stages, who has signed a long term lease for the state of the art performance space. In October 1988, Hamilton College opened an 800-seat auditorium for music performance and rehearsal. This room is also equipped to present ballet, modern dance, musical theater, and opera. Facilities include: a permanent orchestra shell, stage rigging, dressing rooms, large and small rehearsal rooms, faculty offices, and an extremely quiet air conditioning system. The New Music Facility at Hamilton College opened to critical acclaim.

The renovation included better audience accommodations, mechanical and electrical upgrades, a large new stage lighting system, and new loading facilities, with a $12,000,000 budget.

The Victoria Theatre renovation included: gutting and rebuilding an 1886 lobby structure, restoring a 1919 proscenium auditorium, and demolishing a 1919 stage house to replace it with a larger modern stage house. The theater is the home of the Dayton Ballet company and school. The project, completed in 1989, cost approximately $13,000,000. Stage equipment includes: computerized motor operated spot lines, conventional counterweight rigging, new orchestra pit elevator, and new dance floors.

The Filene Center II at Wolf Trap is a large, outdoor, fully equipped modern opera house with 6700 seats. Half the audience sits under a wooden canopy and half sits on a sloping lawn. The original theater burned to the ground. The reconstructed facility opened on July 30, 1984, redesigned to double the backstage area and substantially improve the stage equipment. This Class-A house accommodates the worlds largest touring companies including: the Metropolitan Opera, Bolshoi Opera, American Ballet Theatre, Kirov Ballet, and Stuttgart Ballet. The stage is equipped for live television broadcasts, seen regularly on the PBS series, "Live From Wolf Trap."
